I have no idea when it happened, but ComiXology finally – FINALLY – made it so that their app can now save downloads to an SD card rather than internal storage. Because my tablet is several years old it had limited internal storage so if I wanted to go away for a while/had limited internet in the near future, or simply wanted my options to have some sort of immediacy I’d have to backup downloads the books that had that enabled and store them on the SD card to read through a separate app.
Otherwise I would have to delete something to make room for the next. That’s what happened last night: I finished Spell on Wheels which meant I had room to download something else.
It got to a point where I was like this:
DOWNLOAD ALL THE THINGS.
So what’s some of the things I started downloading last night (and is keeping on going because that’s how it goes)? Well, here’s some of the list – nowhere near the whole thing, thanks years of ComiXology sales. I haven’t bought anything in ages and I still have heaps. :/
(Anything marked with an asterisk is either a re-read*, or a ‘finally going to finish this series so I will start from the beginning’ read**.)
- Batman: No Man’s Land* / Batman: Road to No Man’s Land
- Batgirl (2000-2006)**
- Batgirl (2009-2011)* aka the purest and most wonderful waffle superheroine ever
- Batwoman (Detective Comics 1937-2011)*
- Batwoman (2011-2015)
- Wonder Woman by George Perez
- Wonder Woman by Greg Rucka
Have you fallen victim to ComiXology? Did you know about the SD card option, and regardless how will this information impact you? And what’s on your to-read list?
Do give Spell on Wheels a read by the way. It’s about three diverse witches getting their magical possessions back from an asshole ex-boyfriend. Lots of lady friendships and ladies being awesome in general.
